Welcome to our only formal room at the home of commando journalism: our Resource Room . We've heard so many musicians getting completely disgusted with all the business parts of the entertainment industry. No, we don't have all the answers; but we do have a few resources that our rock journalists have triple checked. So if you know you have talent/determination/perisistance don't ever give up creating music. You can check out these different web sites; and do not forget to read the fine print whenever you upload your music. Always copyright your music and your media before you give it to anyone or any website. If you have a website that offers free promotions to musicians; you may go to our contact page and send us the info. Also; don't forget to tell them rockazine.com sent you! You do want Good RocknRollKarma don't you?

The Indie Bible First off, the Indie Bible is worth the money - if you want to get your new music reviewed. (Rockazine.com doesn't do reviews) It includes current lists of reviewers and other pertinent information about how to contact different types of media that really do this.

The Coalition of Independent Music Stores (CIMS) is a group of independent music stores in America. It's been around since 1995 and its current membership is made up of 31 accounts that handle 70 stores in 24 states. You can go to their web site, then see if one of the stores is near you, see if it carries your kind of music, and talk to the people that work there about getting your recording placed in their shop.

garageband.com helps musicians promote their music and gigs. You can upload your music as "streaming format not downloadable"; remember to read the "User terms & conditions" to see how you want your music distributed. Signing up your band is free; but you have to review 15 songs to get one song uploaded for free.

PureVolume.com Not only is this site impressive to our rockaziner technowebheads; but it is just great for bands that want to stream their music with the free membership. The free membership allows for 3 free songs and 8 photos.

soundclick.com They have had their fabulous site on the world wide web since 1997. They serve up Free services · free artist pages · unlimited song uploads · band approval: within 24 hours · after approval: instant approval of songs · private band message board · gig calendar · music charts.

Transcending the Mundane We repeat: Rockazine.com doesn't do any music reviews our form of punishment is the Rock Abuse Page. Since a lot of American Metal bands and Metal Fans have asked us lately ( Yeah, you know who you are ) we are sending you Metalheds here. These metal writers have skills. None of the above mentioned sites have ever paid rockazine.com to mention them. That is what commando journalism is all about, the F'N truth! Of course there is a whole lot of BS on the rest of this site, now go Abuse yourselves, read our ridiculous Glam Pussy Horoscopes, and thanks for visiting the home of commando journalism, rockazine.com
